- No one receives wages at Help a Family – all work is voluntary.
- No administration costs or assets are purchased from donated money.
- It’s often the small things that make children feel isolated or different feelings that can lead to stress and emotional hardship. That’s why every dollar you donate goes directly toward easing the burden on families, helping children feel supported, included, and cared for.
100% of ALL donations goes to supporting local families
- 80% goes directly to families in your local community (less bank fess and charges) through your participating school.
- 20% of donations are allocated to a special assistance fund, accessible by schools across Australia. This fund provides one-time support to families facing unexpected hardship—such as medical emergencies, natural disasters like floods or bushfires, or other urgent needs.
80% is used to supply the ‘little things’ that many of US take for granted
- Educational needs – fees, equipment, text books, uniforms.
- Extra curricula activities – excursions, camps, dance, drama, after school care etc.
- Supplement Healthy Food options – school breakfasts.
- Sporting fees and costs Medical costs.
